Changan Deepal S7 continues the family design style of Deepal SL03 in terms of appearance, and the whole car lines are sharp and angular, showing strong aggressiveness. Body dimensions, the new model length, width and height of 4750 × 1930 × 1625 mm, wheelbase of 2900 mm, body data in the medium-sized SUV can reach the upper-middle level. Surprisingly, the car does not match the traditional LCD instrument panel, replaced by a large AR-HUD head-up digital display system. In addition, the car's air conditioning vents are hidden and the wind direction can be adjusted in real time following the touchscreen.
Compared to the Changan Deepal SL03, the interior seats of the Deepal S7 look more luxurious, with the front seats adding a cross-variable diamond pattern to the seat surface, which greatly improves the texture and also increases the friction of the seats, while the seat back position is also set up with an embossed imprinted logo. It seems that as a latecomer, Changan Deepal S7 has made significant progress.
The entire series of Changan Deepal S7 adopts a 5-seat layout, and the rear seats have a very good sense of class, in which the overall position of the seats is relatively backward, allowing passengers to be hidden between the C-pillar and the D-pillar, which enhances the privacy of the car. The extended-range hybrid version uses a 1.5L engine with a maximum output of 70 kW as the range extender, and is paired with a drive motor with an output of 175 kW, a battery pack with a capacity of 31.73 kWh, and a WLTC range of 160km.
