Exterior Design
Positioned as a large SUV, the M9 adopts a new design language that AITO officially refers to as the "Kun Peng Spreading Wings". The front face adopts the closed styling common to new energy models, with a penetrating daytime running light strip, and a unique design of projected digital lights on both sides, which can project a flexible pattern on the road. The trapezoidal grille running through the bottom of the front surround widens the visual width of the front part of the car to a certain extent. In terms of the exteriors of the pure-electric and range-extended versions, the most significant difference is that trapezoidal grille, with the former having a mesh structure and the latter having a vertical structure with greater air intake volume, complemented by a running chrome trim. In addition, the extended-range version has an additional fuel filler on the left side, while the pure electric version has an additional EV tail mark logo.
There is also a LiDAR prominently positioned above the roof, together with side-view cameras on both sides and multiple radar hardware to support the assisted driving system, which enables Huawei's ADS high-level self-driving assistance function.
The two power variants of the Inquisition M9 are consistent in body design, featuring flat lines that add a sense of luxury. After obtaining the road conditions ahead, the suspension system can adjust the adaptive active suspension 100 times per second to respond to changes in road conditions in real time.
Another key technology of the Toulin Intelligent Chassis is HUAWEI DATS (Dynamic Adaptive Torque System) version 2.0.
