The Li L9's overall design style is similar to that of the Li ONE, with a Woosai AT128 LIDAR on top of its head, and a similar styling design to that of the Azera NT 2.0 platform model.
The front face is designed with star-ring headlamps with no breakpoints, making it more atmospheric. Flanking the star-ringed headlights are the indicator lights and ADAS lights, which alert other vehicles when ADAS is turned on, an interesting design that is certainly forward-thinking as not many people are able to read the ADAS lights at this stage.
In addition, the Li L9 doesn't have a large grille like the Li ONE. This is because the range extender doesn't really need a lot of air intake. This makes the Li L9 look even more electrified. Of course, the lack of a large grille will make many people feel that it is not dominant enough, but this is actually more of an aesthetic inertia left by traditional fuel cars.
Side by side, the Li L9 features fully wrapped doors, which will make it easier for drivers and passengers to get in and out of the car. Starting from the second row, Li L9 adopts privacy glass. It is equipped with 21-inch wheels and 265/45 R21 Michelin PILOT SPORT 4 SUV tires. The design of the tail lamps adopts a penetrating tail lamp, and the overall design of the rear end is not much different from that of Li ONE.
First of all, there is a very conspicuous dual-link screen with a 15.7-inch, 3K-grade OLED screen. Considering that the specification of the center control screen of Tesla Model 3 is 15 inches, it can be simply understood as two Model 3 screens side by side. Obviously, compared to Li ONE, the video and gaming experience of L9 passenger screen will have a qualitative upgrade.
In front of the driver's seat, the instrument cluster has been removed and replaced with a large HUD that displays navigation, sensory information visualization, and almost all of the information traditionally displayed on a dashboard, such as speed and road signs.
In addition, the button layout on the left and right sides of the steering wheel follows the interaction layout of the 2021 Li ONE. Above the steering column is a new Safe Driving Interactive Screen, which is designed to complement the HUD, utilizing Mini-LED and Multi-Touch technology to provide a clearer display of essential driving information as well as allowing the instrument panel to be touch-activated, making it easier to select functions, including driving modes. This also means that functions can be customized and set on demand. And the Li L9 steering wheel is electrically adjustable.
In the center console section, at the very front is the wireless charging pad and there's a grommet, maybe a small storage compartment? Behind it are two cup holders and a large storage space, further clarifying the family orientation. The rest of the front interior section remains modest and doesn't feature hidden air vents.
In terms of power, the Li L9 will continue with the programmable power form, in which the engine is upgraded to a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender with a thermal efficiency of up to 40%. The drive motor comes from Great Wall Hive Power and is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 44.5kWh. The maximum power of the system will reach 300kW and the maximum torque will be 600N-m. In terms of range, it is expected to realize a pure electric range of 200km, an extended-range range of 1,000km, and a comprehensive range of 1,200km under CLTC conditions.
