In terms of details, the design of the bulging ribbed lines on the hood, together with the C-shaped LED headlight clusters, makes the whole look more ferocious, and the progressive cooling holes at the bottom of the front face also indicate the identity of the hybrid model, with a full sense of design. It is worth mentioning that the Corsair DM-i is also equipped with air intakes on the left and right sides, which further strengthens the aerodynamics of the whole car.
There is basically no difference between the design of the lights and the pure electric version, the iconic daytime running lights highlight the individuality of the different, inside the light cavity is a double U-shaped suspended LED light-emitting components, LED lens length and width of only 100mm × 15mm, the industry's leading ultra-flat ratio, so that the lights as a whole more slender. The rear taillights are slightly different from the pure electric version in that the light strip that can be lit throughout has been moved to the underside of the ducktail, which has resulted in some stylistic changes to the vehicle's taillights, but the teardrop dot-matrix lighting inside the light cavity remains. The rear badge has also been replaced with the three-letter "BYD" spelling.
The Seal Champion Edition can be described as a coupe or a sports sedan, and that's not an exaggeration. From the side of the car to see the appropriate body proportions, long front end and short front and rear overhangs, coupled with a slightly forward swooping body posture, can reflect the car's strong sports flavor. The "BYD DESIGN" logo is also added on the front wing. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the Corsair DM-i are 4980/1890/1495mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2900mm. from the point of view of the data of the Corsair DM-i, it can be said that it is the performance of the class.
The rear of the car adopts a relatively short design, the small back shape looks not only sporty, the visual feeling is also particularly comfortable. The upturned ducktail is still retained above the trunk, and the lower bumper shape has been changed compared to the pure electric version, with an increased area of piano baking paint and a reflective light band, and the reverse light is also designed here.
BYD Corsair DM-i adopts one of the latest designs from Oceanic and will be a step up in terms of material application and workmanship compared to the past, with the addition of tumbled leather, soft wraps, and woodgrain veneers all adding to the premium feel of this car's interior.
The central sub-dashboard returns to its normal shape, while becoming larger and flatter in size. There is a wireless charging panel for cell phones at the front, and at the back is a small, crystal-textured gear knob and controls surrounded by piano lacquer. A good amount of storage space is also provided underneath.
Inside, the car uses an embedded 10.25-inch LCD meter and a traditional 15.6-inch pad that can be rotated with an adaptive app, making the overall look and feel of the car quite outstanding. The BYD Corsair DM-i also offers a 12-inch W-HUD head-up display.
The part of the new model of the car machine has also been upgraded, using BYD's latest DiLink car machine system, which supports full-scene intelligent voice, One ID exclusive cockpit, free dual desktop and other functions, and the usual use of the APP can be downloaded through the app store, in terms of abundance as well as playability, do not have to worry about.
Corsair DM-i is equipped with DiPilot intelligent driver assistance system, including ACC adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and rearward collision warning, etc. In addition, it also supports a number of safety assistance functions, such as 360 panoramic image and DMS fatigue monitoring.
BYD Seal DM-i offers two versions of hybrid powertrain this time, namely the version equipped with Snapdragon Super Hybrid 1.5L engine + electric motor and the version equipped with 1.5T engine + electric motor.
